Breastfeeding = better
Breastfeeding is the best start for your baby. Research shows that children who are breastfed are less often and less seriously ill than children who were never breastfed.Breastfeeding also offers protection against allergies. Fortunately, though,if breastfeeding does not progressas expected, or if you prefer to bottlefeed, there are excellent alternatives.
Although many women start breastfeeding after giving birth, research has shown that the majority of women stop breastfeeding at the end of their maternity leave. This is a great pity, as breastfeeding is crucial to a child’s development, especially during the first six months of life. The main reason why women stop breastfeeding is because they no longer felt comfortable when expressing milk, exposing their breast and using an ultra-noisy breast pump. These annoyances make women feel like a dairy cow.
It took us three years of intense research to produce this electric breast pump. The breast pump was developed in partnership with a team of medical experts, including lactation consultants and paediatricians. Worn discreetly under clothing, the breast pump is quiet and unobtrusive, allowing you to feel more relaxed and at ease when expressing milk. These unique features make it stand out among all the other breast pumps.

Another advantage of the BtoB breast pump is that it allows you to express milk without using your hands. The shield slides under your bra, so that you do not need to your expose your breast.
The milk is fed through the tubing to the bottle attached to the top of the pump. Simply place the pump on a table top. Because the bottle is fixed firmly in place, it also possible to place the pump alongside you on the sofa.
Once you have finished expressing milk, you can either put the bottle containing the expressed milk in the fridge, transfer it to a breastmilk storage bag and place in the freezer, or screw the teat onto it, and feed the milk directly to your baby. All of these options allow women to breastfeed for longer, should they wish to do so.

All parts of the BtoB pump are quick and easy to clean in a microwave steriliser or by boiling. The breast pump, which comprises the pump, adapter and short air tube, should never be placed in water or in a steriliser. These parts should be cleaned with a damp cloth. If used daily, the shield should be sterilised at least once a day. The milk and splitter can also be sterilised, for instance in a microwave steriliser. Independent research has shown that this process fully sterilises the milk tubes. For optimal hygiene, we recommend replacing the tubing every six weeks.

The best way to store expressed breastmilk is tofreeze it immediately, or to store it in the fridge if you planto feed it to your baby within 24 hours. Expressedbreastmilk can be stored in the special Difraxbreastmilk storage bags. Each bag has aleak-proof, easy-to-close zipper seal.The special gusseted bottom allows the bag to stand upright.Thaw frozen milk by transferring it to the fridge for thawing or bygradually warming it up in water (with a bain-marie) until it has reacheda body temperature of 37°C. Any heated breastmilk that is left over after a feedingshould be disposed of.
